Our Story

Scared Panda started in 2009 in our tiny Chicago apartment and was born out of our desire to make an impact in our community. To do this, we started making t-shirts that reflect the subcultures of Chicago and putting money from the sales of the shirts into an organization that makes a difference in the community. For every shirt we sell, we donate 10% to support a nonprofit that makes an impact in the community.

In 2011, we moved to New York City and quickly realized how much we missed our home state of Minnesota and the community that we used to belong to. We began creating t-shirts that reflected the things we love about Minnesota and soon realized that this is what we are meant to do. Not just create t-shirts, but get involved in and make a difference in the community that inspires us.

For the remainder of 2011 with every t-shirt you purchase, we will give 10% to our non-profit partner, Growing Home, a Chicago-based non-profit that provides job training and fresh local, organic food to those in need.
